FORMULA WIOTECH
The formula is based on two of the elements naturally present in our epidermis, responsible for the processes of regeneration and elasticity of the skin.
Hyaluronic Acid + Epithelial Growth Factor (EGF)
It contains as a differential element the Epithelial Growth Factor (EGF) discovered by Stanley Cohen and Rita Levi Montalcini, who in 1986 were awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine (1). The other basic element of the formula is 1% and 2% Hyaluronic Acid.
THE DIFFERENTIAL ELEMENT
WIOTECH® only line of products with EGF that uses a stabilization procedure own and patented.
The EGF protein is classified as very unstable, its half-life at 25º C is less than 7 h. With stabilization (our patent) once reconstituted it is effective for up to 4 weeks if kept refrigerated and up to 8 weeks if frozen.
EPITHELIAL GROWTH FACTOR (EGF)
It is present in the human body and is responsible for the regulation of the cell cycle: development, renewal and cell survival and stimulates the proliferation of epithelial cells. Present in platelets, macrophages and various fluids such as saliva, urine, milk and plasma3.
EGF binds to its receptor (EGFR) on the cell membrane, triggering a cascade of biochemical processes which influence:
• Proliferation of keratinocytes.
• Complement system
HYALURONIC ACID (HA)
HA is synthesized in the vascular system of fibroblasts mainly, in mesenchymal cells such as chondroblasts, osteoblasts and to a lesser extent in epithelial cells such as keratinocytes.
The total concentration in humans is approximately 15 g, with a third renewed every day. Its plasma half-life is 2.5 to 5.5 minutes.

THE HYALURONIC ACID OF THE WIOTECH FORMULA
